Kota Kinabalu City
After much name-changes, from Deasoka (below coconut tree), Singgah Mata (pleasing to the eye) and Api-Api (fire), the locals finally settled with crowning this coastal town, Kota Kinabalu.
Tied to the coast overlooking the South China Sea, Kota Kinabalu is a city of color and vibrancy. It exudes character with warm smiles, lush greenery and stunning sundowns along its sandy shores. Being a coastal town, most visitors can experience the best of both worlds, from sea to sky with plentiful of things to do in between.

Tunku Abdul Rahman Islands
A 15 minute boat ride from Kota Kinabalu City takes you to good times and salty adventures on Tunku Abdul Rahman marine park., a cluster of 5 jungly humps dotting Sabah’s west coast. With 4, 928 hectares of designated protected area, it definitely isn’t short in supply of swaying palm trees, crystal clear waters, sun soaked shores and seascapes teeming with marine-life.

Sapi Island
Sapi Island, which is shaped like a star, is smaller than Manukan, but is the 2nd most developed and popular island of the Tunku Abdul Marine Park (TARP). The island boasts white sandy beaches and crystal clear turqoise waters. Voted as one of the best snorkeling spots among the TARP islands, there are many colourful fishes and corals that you can find here. There is a sand bank to the north of the island, which, at low tide, makes it possible to cross over to the south western tip of Gaya island.
